Having a few unexpected issues with the site, which apparently had something to do with replacing the EC widget with EntreWas, which I have temporarily removed while I attempt to figure what caused the problem.
So here are a few more mushroom photos from Saturday's walk.

This is a single yellow chanterelle that I found hidden under a spray of Oregon Grape Holly, peeking up through a bed of fir needles at the edge of a clump of Irish moss.
You can see the typical moss better in this shot with what I call mountain violet and more Oregon Grape.


The final shot shows two small clumps of young yellow chanterelles in forest litter.
