I hate that I'm always right, sinisterly speaking

I've been listening to the 94/7 too stream at knrk.com, and the sounds there are so much better than their mainstream feed — which is itself a welcome relief from the shit that most Americans call radio — that I am beginning to think that I need to incorporate some virtual audio into the ethereal cave wall paintings that me and my sick buddy Al have been working on since 1896.

Visit 94.7 and click the listen live 94/7 live too HD2 link on the upper right to understand why I find so much of ordinary entertainment so depressing and counter productive.

There's some good shit being done by the folks who get their stuff included in the playlist and some of it brings me back to the kind of joyful music I heard in The Mothers back in the 60s. I'm not cynical enough to think that at least some of these people are not only in it for the money.

If you have similar sites where local indie music is available, I wouldn't mind your sharing them with me and my obviously depraved and deluded readers.

We all need something to drown out the horseshit that calls itself civic duty and intelligent discourse.

I'm soiling my soul again this year and voting against Repugnicants and teabaggers and anyone or anything sponsored by anyone or anything that encourages the kind of stupidity that has made this country so great that it grates on the ear.
